They actually sell epoxy paints that stick to many surfaces. You don't say what hard surface you are wanting to paint, but if it is concrete they now have chemicals that will permanently color concrete that work very well. first off epoxy will have a trnslucint effect to it and not match anything in this way so painting over it is the best thing to do. need to ask a pro about a good paint that will breeth and still match the color that you are trying to match.Can i mix epoxy with some kind of paint. I don't know what kind of paint you are talking about but I know you can add pigment to epoxy, that will do the job.
