Just thinking out loud here, but did you read the directions on the label? It will say how long to wait on there.How long does it take epoxy paint to cure?
I have painted several pools and hot tubs and I would suggest you let it cure for a week if you want it to be trouble free.
especially if it is a concrete tub base.
