Has anyone used the epoxy garage floor paint kit?

What are your thoughts after using it? Is it easy to use? How long has it been since you did it and what does it look like now? What brand did you use?

Thanks!Has anyone used the epoxy garage floor paint kit?
Used the Sherwin Williams system for the floor of my retail space. It does take time and I used a commerical painter to do it. First coat was gray- that has to fully dry. Next layers we used paint chips and sprinkled them on the floor (black and white). Let that dry. Then two coats of clear coat. It's really durable. We wash with a slightly damp mop about once every 6 months- we take care of shoe scuffs with a Mr. Clean white eraser/sponge. Very durable. Just now starting to see wear in the high traffic areas. During the winter, we use walk off mats by the front door to catch as much water and salt as we can. Probably in January (low sales month for us) we will have a fresh coat of clear done.

Gotta tell you the paint smell stinks to high heaven- and if there's lots of humidity it takes longer to dry. So factor that into your schedule. We get tons of compliments on the floor. And with an uneven cement floor, it make it all look smooth.Has anyone used the epoxy garage floor paint kit?
You may want to consider purchasing an epoxy paint from Sherwin Williams. I purchased this paint in the color of my choice and applied it with a roller. It was already mixed when I purchased it. It dried hard and is very durable. The only issue is if you spill water on it. The surface is very smooth, and slippery when wet.
It's been a couple years (2 summers or so). Don't remember brand name. Used it in dark gray on my front %26amp; back poured concrete porches/entry stairs. (Spent DAYS stripping old stuff off, ick!) Looks great still. Workes best if you apply in small areas in ';x'; or crosshatch pattern.

Good luck. Have fun.
i dont remember the brand. we did it about a month ago, looks GREAT !!!!! wasnt too hard, took a while to dry because it was kind of humid here in minneapolis, but looks really nice highly recommend
