What you describe is called ';air drying'; it can accelerate the drying time, but look on the product to see if advises against it. I have refinished tubs, sinks etc %26amp; could accelerate the drying time down to 8 hours, but you would need an infrared heater.
Keep the area very warm while drying and it will work. 80 -90 degrees is best.
Best of luckQuestion about epoxy paint?
It couldn't hurt. Try it and see what happens. Either it will or it won't but at least you found out your answer.
